Principal Business Analyst
Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner
Experience: 8–12 Years
Role Summary
Lead business analysis and product ownership for AI/ML‑driven enterprise initiatives. Drive requirement strategy, stakeholder alignment, product roadmap detailing, and support full AI/ML lifecycle delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own requirement strategy: BRD, FRD, SRS, Epics, Features, User Stories.
- Conduct advanced current/future‑state modeling, gap analysis, and business impact assessment.
- Drive backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and executive‑level stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with AI/ML teams on problem framing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and business validation.
- Lead workshops, UAT sessions, demos, and executive briefings.
- Oversee governance documentation: traceability matrices, business rules, data dictionaries, process flows.
- Support end‑to‑end AI/ML lifecycle: Business Understanding → Data → Model → BAT → Deployment → Monitoring.
Mandatory Skills (with expected experience)
- Business analysis & enterprise requirements – 8+ years
- BRD / FRD / SRS / User stories / Epics – 8+ years
- Domain expertise (Banking / Insurance / Logistics) – 5+ years
- AI/ML lifecycle, prompt engineering, LLM use cases – 3–5 years
- SQL, data analysis, profiling – 3–5 years
- Product management (Epics, Features, Roadmap, Acceptance criteria) – 5+ years
- Agile (Scrum ownership, Sprint planning, Grooming) – 6+ years
Nice to Have
- AI/ML frameworks, MLOps exposure
- Scoring models, claims/underwriting platforms
- API documentation & integration knowledge
- Lucidchart, Miro, data visualization tools
Behavioral Skills
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, leadership
