About the department:
You will be joining our Finance and Procurement Global Business Services (GBS) team in Bangalore. Established in 2007, Finance and Procurement GBS supports various finance functions for Novo Nordisk globally. As part of this role, you will be part of our Finance Operations team, which is responsible for process improvements across Finance Operations including Tax, R2R, and P2P.With 180 employees based in Denmark, 300 employees in India, and globally 500 people working in finance operation, we are a strategic partner to the execution of the company’s strategy for the International Operations. The position
As a Process Manager - Architect Tax, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, optimising processes, and driving innovation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating country-specific testing cycles for SAP DRC e-invoicing and e-reporting changes.
  • Validating business requirements and translating them into detailed technical specifications, data models, and implementation plans.
  • Creating solution blueprints, integration and data flow diagrams, and implementa-tion roadmaps.
  • Designing and collaborating with developers to implement data models, SAP DRC changes, and reporting layers using tools such as SAP, BW, Power BI, Power App, Fiori, and Power Query.
  • Defining data architecture patterns, including master data strategy, harmonisation, and governance requirements.
  • Driving project governance activities, including risk identification, dependency man-agement, and architecture change control.
  • Evaluating and adopting new technologies, tools, and approaches (e.g., AI, cloud patterns, HANA capabilities) to add value and lead implementation.
  • Providing ongoing technical guidance and hands-on support to development teams and end-users.

 

Qualifications:

  • A master’s or graduate degree in Business or Finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in DRC, SAP analytics/BI architecture with at least 5 years focused on SAP BW and SAP, SAP HANA solutions.
  • Strong understanding of DRC, S/4HANA data structures, ECC, Common Data Models, and how to provision data to BW/4HANA effectively
  • Experience with Power Apps
  • Experience with Fiori and power query is preferable
  • Expertise in data modelling concepts, master data management, data governance frameworks, and metadata management.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, solution costing, and delivering large-scale analytics programs.
  • Knowledge of reporting/visualization platforms (SAP Analytics Cloud, BusinessObjects, Power BI) and their integration with BW.
  • Strong understanding of finance and tax processes
