About the Job  

  

• We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineering Lead who loves retail and has a passion for delivering best-in-class experience for consumers and best-in-industry quality engineering and test automation practices to our development squads.  

• The QE Lead will be responsible for architecting, designing, creating, updating, and maintaining test automation tools for our brands, operations, planning and supply chain engineering projects and enhancements.  

• This role involves rearchitecting and updating internal systems as well as adapting publicly available best-in-breed tools to enable full test automation coverage by our development and quality engineering squads for global markets.   

  

About You:   

  

• Experienced Software and Quality Engineering leader with 10+ years’ experience with 5+ years' experience implementing software and tools for internal or external customer groups, including peer development teams 

• 4 years experience of quality engineering leadership, test leadership or development leadership.  

• Subject matter expertise in software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and CI/CD practices.   

• 9+ years experience of design and development skills in languages such as C#, Java, React and Python 

• Breadth in exposure to using leading QE applications such as TestRail, Selenium, Playwright, Browserstack, Page Vitals, Digital.AI, Gremlin and Dot Com Monitor, as well as JIRA, Jenkins, Git and cloud-based deployment platforms.  

• Strong curiosity and exploration in the use of GenAI and Agentic AI to partner with human engineers in getting work done in better ways 

• Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing scalable testing solutions.   

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to interpret monitoring and derive recommendations / actions.  

• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Quality Engineering and test automation. 

• Comprehensive understanding of Manual, Agile, DevOps and Lean Software principles.  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated work experience designing and implementing test automation tools is acceptable in place of education.
