What would you do? Accenture is seeking a Record To Report Operations Associate to support various indirect purchases for our customers. In this capacity, you will be based out of one of our delivery centers and will have frequent interaction with team members and customers in the execution of projects. These projects will help customers achieve significant value in the form of improved pricing, quality, delivery, and supplier performance. professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process services, including finance and accounting, Record To Report and human resources. Depending on the role, Business Process Services professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world. Involves balancing all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general ledger based source data to verify whether the balance sheet accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger. Differences which arise are addressed as reconciling items.
What are we looking for? Basic Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: • 1+ years of experience in Record To Report Operations/Financial Accounting • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member • Excellent communication skills written and verbal including formal presentation skills (needs to be able to build relationships over the phone without meeting suppliers / customers on a regular basis) • Accountable for maintaining quality and service standards to support the overall Accenture-Client relationship and to deliver continuous improvement • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills • Adaptable communication ability to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers • The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated independent self-starter who thrives on challenge and delivering exceptional results • The ideal candidate must possess a desire to learn and deliver as a true team player
Roles and Responsibilities: • Independently calculate and post journal entries • Perform monthly close and balance sheet reviews • Manage fixed asset and lease accounting • Handle intercompany (ICO) accounting and reconciliations • Support statutory reporting and audit requirements • Execute Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, and Transfer Pricing support activities • Liaise with statutory authorities, auditors, and regulators • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve variances • Support payments processing and other treasury activities •• Strong knowledge of R2R / General Ledger accounting • Experience with month end close, taxation, and compliance • ERP exposure (SAP preferred) • Good analytical and reconciliation skills
