Job Description: Salesforce Application Architect – Provider Network Management (PNM / Vlocity)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Application Architect with deep expertise in Provider Network Management (PNM) within Salesforce Health Cloud, including hands on experience with Vlocity/OmniStudio. The architect will design and implement provider enrollment, credentialing, network management, and contract automation solutions using Salesforce’s PNM capabilities, which streamline provider onboarding, automate guided workflows, and leverage specialized Health Cloud PNM objects and data models.

Responsibilities

• Architect end to end PNM solutions (provider enrollment, credentialing, contracts, network setup) aligned with Health Cloud PNM capabilities.
• Design and extend the PNM data model using standard objects
• Lead solutioning using Vlocity/OmniStudio (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors).
• Provide architectural guidance, ensure scalability, and adhere to Salesforce platform best practices.
• Collaborate with business, provider operations, and engineering teams to deliver compliant, industry grade solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud PNM and healthcare provider lifecycle processes.
• Advanced Vlocity/OmniStudio expertise.
• Strong Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, and integration skills.
• Preferred certifications: Application Architect, OmniStudio, Health Cloud.
• Solid understanding of healthcare payer/provider operational models.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce recommended architectural practices, scalability considerations, and cross-cloud solutioning
• Proficiency in API design, security, data modeling, system integrations, and event-driven architectures.
• General Requirements
• 10-15 years IT experience with 5+ years in Salesforce.
• Salesforce certifications preferred (Application Architect, OmniStudio Consultant/Developer, Health Cloud).
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management, discovery workshops, and solution presentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payer systems, provider credentialing systems, or healthcare interoperability (HL7/FHIR) is a plus.
• Experience implementing Provider Search, Network Adequacy, or Provider Directory solutions within Health Cloud ecosystems.
• Prior work in regulated healthcare environments with compliance requirements.
