Prepare project plans, provide estimates for project tasks, and assist with prioritization in re‐lation to capacity planning and performance analytics.
Support the Architecture team to work on establishing the Storage strategy and way forward.
Engineering, deploy, implement and administer SAN and Storage infrastructures.
Work on storage related tasks such as volume creation, LUN provisioning and data migration.
Provision of storage and monitor capacity.
Perform all maintenance, confi guration and deployments to the SAN system.
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the storage area network (SAN).
Interact with Vendor to address critical support activities.
Manage and provide necessary support for all the incidents and meet the SLA’s
Analyze and specify technology opportunities and make system recommendations.
Ensure project documents are completed, current, appropriately stored and handed over to the Operations team within the relevant timescales.
Participate in project team meetings to represent the Storage SMEs and provide input on project activities.
Make sure there is a smooth changeover from the old technology system to the new one
Provide guidance on Automation and Orchestration orchestrate wherever it is possible.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and effi cient implementation of the project(s).
Make sure that each stage of a delivery progresses on time and to the relevant quality/standards.
Keep abreast of all Storage technologies and corresponding complementing technologies.
Continually assist in updating roadmaps and future state documents.
Ensure project status reports to stakeholders are submitted by ensuring regular and accu‐rate blogging and updates of projects and activities.
Ensure project deliverables are clearly defi ned, planned, prioritized & kept on track and within scope.
Act as a technical touch point for members of the team, offering guidance, coaching, men‐toring and support.

Degree or equivalent experience (3 to 8+ years) in large Storage Environment
EMC Storage Knowledge is the key for this role as we have EMC storage arrays like Powermax, Powerstore, Powerscale(Isilon) and ECS.
Strong skill in Cisco MDS switch management which includes ISL confi guration, zoning and troubleshooting.
The ability to cooperate in a team environment is critical
An ability to think ‘outside of the box’ with a long-term view, when recommending solutions.
Organizational skills are required to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
Supports recovery efforts in the event of systems failure or disaster.
Candidates must have the ability to motivate and lead others in a positive manner and en‐sure the group’s work gets done in a timely fashion.
Strong research initiative, a self-starter at locating relevant documentation, support and process assistance
Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and communicate with a variety of indi‐viduals at all levels is required.
The ability to infl uence others in a politically correct manner, so that objectives are met, is required.
Must possess a solid understanding of software and/or hardware systems used in assigned area.
