Senior Procurement Specialist

The Senior Procurement Specialist (Sr. Associate, Strategic Sourcing) supports sourcing approach and develops the project procurement execution plan including productivity target. They will consolidate and manages the regional supplier database for indirect categories and subcategories using KPIs. They are accountable for the delivery of productivity and savings targets for categories/sub categories within regional responsibilities.

Major Accountabilities:

• Solicit and analyze requests for proposals, negotiates contracts, and coordinates supplier integration plans with internal clients for all goods and services for consumption by internal stakeholders, business unit or function.
• Identify projects to apply sourcing and purchasing/procurement methodology. Responsible for process reengineering, compliance management, value capture, and supplier relationship management to support comprehensive category management.
• Establish a supplier relationship management process with continuous improvement goals/programs.
• Monitor market dynamics and communicates changes that affect internal client needs.
• Partner with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, conduct buyer/market profiles, share marketplace trends, share best practices, and define acceptable service levels.

What you will bring to the role:

• University degree in Business administration in fields such as business administration, finance
• 2-3 years of procurement experience, strong ability to work in a matrix environment
• Exposed to European countries and European stakeholders in a virtual environment
• Solid knowledge of category management
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in MS Office
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English
• Experience working on diverse projects
• Comfortable with challenges of working in a global, dispersed team
• Marketing or Indirect categories experience + European stakeholder exposure
