Consumer Audio

Team

The charter of ADI’s Consumer Audio team is to develop cutting edge products for hearables, hearing health and prosumer audio end markets. These products and technologies are a key driver of growth in our portable and non-portable consumer business.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification with strong coverage driven SystemVerilog/UVM expertise.
  • Prior experience of working on ARM-based mixed signal SoCs; and in taking multiple SOCs through tapeout.
  • Borad  exposure to a wide range of verification activities (block level, SOC level, gatesims, Formal, FPGA, power aware/UPF, HW/SW co-verification, mixed signal / AMS verification etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently evaluate, adopt, and deploy new verification methodologies that improve quality and closure.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with proven experience leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Experience in deploying AI/ML based verification methodologies is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive verification strategy, methodology, and signoff for ASIC/SoC and mixed‑signal designs.
  • Provide hands‑on technical guidance in UVM, AMS verification, debugging, and coverage planning/closure.
  • Ensure development of scalable, maintainable, and efficient testbench architectures.
  • Lead, mentor and grow a high performing DV engineering team including resource planning, execution management, and performance feedback.
  • Champion modern verification approaches, including mixed‑signal co‑simulation, emulation/acceleration, and portable stimulus.
  • Identify, evaluate and deploy automation and AI‑driven solutions to reduce engineering effort and improve verification throughput.
  • Collaborate closely with design, architecture, validation, systems, and program management teams to ensure alignment on requirements, schedules and deliverables.
  • Communicate technical decisions, project risks, and execution status clearly and proactively across teams and leadership.
