Job Description

Sr. Partner Operations Manager, Prime Video

How often have you had an opportunity to be at ground zero of a disruptive, fast-growing, and revolutionary global Amazon service? How frequently do you get to start from the foundation and solve customer needs at a global scale in a fast-growing entertainment streaming industry? At Prime Video, we are pioneering a new generation of digital supply chain at a remarkable speed to accelerate our market position and global reach. If this sounds interesting, come build the future of streaming entertainment with us!

Prime Video is a global premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies — all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. Prime Video is a fast-paced, growth business — available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The team works in a dynamic and global environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do. The Partner Operations Management (POM) team is looking for a bright, partner-obsessed, driven, and creative individual to join our team in India. POM is responsible for driving a world-class partner experience through enabling partners to deliver assets of all varieties on-time, in full and at the Prime Video quality bar.

As a Sr. Partner Operations Manager, you will serve as the primary relationship owner for our third-party studios, content distributors, and fulfillment vendors (collectively "partners") in India. You will build and nurture long-term, strategic partnerships — engaging studio executives to influence their supply chain investments, delivery workflows, and feature adoption strategies. You will be the voice of the partner within Prime Video, capturing partner-specific insights and regional nuance to ensure our partners succeed and our customers benefit.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end partner experience — from driving timely and cost-effective delivery of source materials to identifying improvement opportunities through reporting, data analysis, and innovative workflow enhancements. You will conduct regular partner business reviews, manage complex escalations, and tailor strategies to individual partner contexts across India's diverse content landscape (including SVOD, AVOD, TVOD,Channels, and partner direct business lines). The ability to develop, own, and report on key performance metrics is critical.
This role will work with executive-level leadership within the streaming community. Internal teams include content acquisition, marketing, engineering, content processing, legal, finance, and accounting teams. External teams vary based on partner and may include marketing, rights management, IT, engineering, localization, compliance, and digital operations teams.

Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned studio partners in India, building trusted executive-level relationships that influence partner investments in delivery capabilities and content quality
• Conduct trend analysis and deep dives on partner performance against KPI targets to drive perfect delivery to Prime Video
• Act as the voice of the partner — capturing partner-specific feedback, regional nuances, and operational realities to advocate for solutions that enable partner success
• Own and lead regular partner business reviews (WBRs,MBRs, QBRs), translating performance data into actionable strategies tailored to each partner's context
• Manage complex escalations that may span across multiple business units, driving resolution while maintaining strong partner relationships
• Distill insights on partner capabilities to advise and enhance business strategies such as new content and market launches in India
• Drive partner adoption of delivery best practices and new platform capabilities by tailoring strategies to individual partner needs and technical maturity
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, product development, and cost reduction through data analysis and direct partner engagement
• Drive long-term solutions through next-gen automation and AI innovations to complex workflows
• Mentor team members and help develop talent across the organization

A day in the life
• Engage directly with studio partner executives to understand their priorities, address delivery challenges, and align on strategic goals
• Lead partner performance reviews, using data-driven insights combined with partner context to identify root causes and drive improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partner feedback is heard and acted upon, influencing how Prime Video builds and evolves its tools and features
• Design workflow strategies for accelerated content delivery in multiple languages and formats across India's diverse content ecosystem, while simplifying and eliminating redundant practices
• Streamline business and technology solutions that strengthen our partnerships while advancing our services
• Work effectively in a team environment and cross-functionally with Prime Video Catalog technology teams, engineers, business teams, analytics, and product

About the team
Partner Operations Management (POM) sets the industry standard for partner success — where every content provider across the globe chooses Prime Video as their most valued platform. We drive industry-shaping partnerships with content providers by enabling them to maximize the benefits of Prime Video's innovative tools, features, and the world's largest and most diverse streaming catalogue. As Prime Video evolves how content is delivered and experienced, we ensure content providers evolve with us by reducing friction in the content ingestion process and unlocking new opportunities for them to deliver exceptional experiences to customers. We obsess over studio partners' success because it creates superior customer experiences — we are their voice within Prime Video, helping them do business with us not because they must, but because they want to.
