What would you do? Manage planning, procurement, distribution and aftermarket service supply chain operations, helping clients realize $5 for every $1 spent on our services In supply chain planning, "Source" refers to the process of identifying and procuring the necessary materials and services from suppliers. This includes selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. The goal is to ensure a reliable supply of quality materials at the best cost. Effective sourcing helps maintain production schedules and control costs. It is essential for the smooth operation of the supply chain. Facilitates a non-contract purchase request which exceeds a pre-defined value threshold in order to achieve optimal pricing and value that meets a customer#s specifications and/or requirements.
What are we looking for? Managing end to end RFQ packages, including coordination for drawings/specifications and driving supplier quotation responses Handling supplier technical & commercial queries with Engineering and Manufacturing Supporting PL and Regional Sourcing teams with RFQ clarifications Executing and monitoring PIR & SL template updates and ensuring adherence across teams Roles require Mechanical Engineering graduates with 10-12 years experience, including 5+ years in sourcing / procurement and strong RFQ/machined components background. Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
