System Integration Engineer - E-Mobility Components

System Integrator

In this role, System Integrator (SYI) will integrate various components/ sub-systems of Systems like Inverter, Integrated Drive Module (IDMs), Converters etc.. SYI is responsible to integrate all components includes software to make desired system/product and ensures the working integrated system by verifying the interfaces b/w components.

Key Responsibility:

•

Responsible for leading the System Integration activities for E-Mobility components – Inverter/Converter/ On-board Charger/Integrated Drive Modules etc...

•

Create/Update System Integration Strategy - the individual elements of the system shall be integrated in accordance with the system architectural design using an integration strategy

•

Develop a strategy for testing the integrated system items (hardware-software and system elements) following the integration strategy

•

Develop the test specifications/test cases for hardware-software and system element integration test according to System Integration test strategy to verify system architectural designs

•

Perform the system elements integration test using the selected test cases. Record the integration test results and logs.

•

Work with Hardware & Software competency teams to solve any integration issues

•

Summarize the integration test results. Communicate this report to all affected parties

•

Process adherence against ASPICE Levels & Participate in ASPICE audits

•

Supporting Bench definition/configuration required for Testing.

Work Experience/Skills:

•

Experience in leading the project includes technical support, task planning, status monitoring & reporting

•

Experience in Vehicle Powertrain Testing (preferably on Electric & Hybrid powertrain)

•

Domain Expertise in Electric Drives/ OBC / Battery Management System

•

Experience in preparing integration & integration test strategies

•

Experience in High Voltage Lab & e-Dyne Testing

•

Experience in test management tools like Polarion/Doors/Jira.

•

Good Knowledge in ASPICE Standard, Functional Safety ISO 26262 & Cybersecurity Standards preferred.

•

Basic knowledge of Microcontroller hardware, Motors, Automotive electronics and Electrical circuits.

•

Tools knowledge: CANoe with CAPL Scripting, CANape, TraceTronic-ECU Test, NI LABVIEW, NI VERISTAND, TESTSTAND, DIAGRA, ETAS INCA, Control Desk NG, Configuration Desk NG, JIRA, Polarion & Plastic SCM/Bit Bucket

•

Knowledge of Automotive communication protocols like CAN FD, LIN & Flexray Protocols
