Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Functional Architect specializing in Product Delivery to lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in managing complex product delivery architectures, ensuring scalability, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement functional architectures for product delivery systems that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and business stakeholders, to identify and address system requirements.

• Drive the integration of innovative technologies into existing product delivery frameworks to improve scalability and performance.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams, promoting best practices in architecture design and project execution, AI agent creation and Data engineering excellence 

• Conduct regular assessments of current systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in functional architecture and product delivery, with a strong track record of success in similar roles.

• Extensive knowledge of best practices in system design, integration, and scalability.

• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects within tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
