Job Description: Technical Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to drive the design and optimization of complex embedded systems. The core objective of this role is to architect, develop, and validate a high-efficiency execution engine for ONNX models, specifically optimized for the ARMv8 architecture. You will bridge the gap between high-level machine learning frameworks and low-level hardware

Job Responsibilities

  • Engine Optimization:  Adapt and streamline the ONNX Runtime to create a lightweight, high-performance solution tailored for ARMv8/ACL (Arm Compute Library) targets
  • Upstream Integration: Maintain a strategic architecture that allows for seamless re-synchronization with the evolving global ONNX Runtime community codebase
  • Hardware Porting: Deploy and optimize the runtime environment across various ARM reference boards.
  • Performance Engineering: Benchmark and profile ONNX Runtime performance using diverse open-world models, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Technical Documentation: Author comprehensive architectural designs and maintain clear documentation for the community synchronization process.
  • Automation: Design and implement automated test suites for continuous performance validation and regression testing.

Mandatory Skills

  • Languages: Expert-level Embedded C/C++ and hands-on experience with ARM NEON Intrinsics (SIMD optimization).
  • Systems & Build Tools: Advanced proficiency with Embedded Linux, Yocto Project, and Bare-Metal/RTOS development.
  • Architecture: Deep understanding of Arm Architecture and ARM Cortex-A, R, and M profiles.
  • Hardware Interface: Solid experience with Board Bring-up, debugging using JTAG/GDB, Lauterbach
  • Tools: Proficiency with configuration management tools like Git and build tool chain like cmake
  • AI/ML Frameworks: Prior exposure to TensorRT, TVM, or TFLite Micro

Desired Skills

  • Security: Familiarity with Secure Boot, TrustZone, and hardware-level encryption.
  • Methodology: Experience working in regulated industries
  • Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation and testing.
