Vacancy for Technology Analyst (f/m) in the Resilience & R2P Services & Cyber Security Team have arisen within Airbus in Bangalore, India,.

The team is responsible for identifying, reporting, and addressing non-compliance issues related to servers within the scope of Hosting CyberSec products worldwide. We are part of Technology Services, which delivers products and services supporting IT infrastructure, including Resilience, R2P, and CyberSec Hosting Services.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 5-8 years of administration experience

Candidates must be accomplished in areas of analysis, design, installation, implementation, configuration, tuning, administration, operation, and security of mid-to-large-tier Windows servers.

Previous experience as a Windows system administrator.

Knowledge of vulnerability management, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols.

Extensive knowledge of operating system security controls and hardening techniques

In-depth understanding of python, Powershell and bash.

Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and ESX operating systems

Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Working knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform is desirable.

Good to have skills : 

Advanced Security knowledge

Proven track record of infrastructure management

Knowledge of Security Operation and Security frameworks

Fluency in English & General Communication/Presentation skills

QUALYS, Tenable & Qlik (Tools used in CyberSec area within Airbus)

Primary responsibilities :

Vulnerability & Compliance Management

• Manage the security compliance of Configuration Items (CIs) on a global scale.

• Secure and maintain an agreed-upon level of collected CI data across all operating system streams.

• Analyze the effectiveness of information security controls designed to mitigate vulnerabilities at various system life cycle stages.

• Work closely with security teams, IT departments, and key stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and address compliance gaps.

Security Operations & Remediation

• Remediate vulnerabilities and non-compliance issues by collaborating with the Operations team following security assessments and tests.

• Improve the foundational security of servers, transitioning them from vulnerable states to secure, shielded environments.

• Mitigate risks through detailed server inspections, including logging in to conduct hands-on assessments and assigning remediation tasks to the Operations team.

• Strengthen the organization’s security framework through proactive identification and resolution of security weaknesses.

System Monitoring & Integrity

• Assist the Security team in the continuous monitoring of operating system security.

• Maintain and oversee patching, intrusion detection, and system hardening processes in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.

• Perform consistency and integrity monitoring and conduct health checks of the operating system structure.

• Maintain security configuration management for software, hardware system controls, and all related documentation and procedures.

Minimum of claims on reliability of the CIs due to remediation.

Ability to challenge the needs of the clients and provide appropriate solutions

Achieve the given level of collect rate
