US Payroll Operations
JPMC is looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to complete the process for the collection of the overpayment of wages and recovery of tuition and other repayments upon termination. This position will focus on compliance of state regulations for repayments utilizing Oracle HCM and Microsoft Excel. This position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, the ability to pay attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. This individual will provide quality payroll support and case management services to employees, former employees, and key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Calculate repayment amounts for overpayments made and communicate information to employees / former employees
- Track and process repayments made by employees / former employees
- Make necessary adjustments to employee wages for repayment of wages and complete ad-hoc request as needed.
- Understand and abide by state regulations regarding the repayment of wages and other payments made to employees / former employees
- Complete overpayment audits
- Identify opportunities for process improvement for the overpayment process and Document process flow and detailed step instructions
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 3 years of experience in a Payroll Department
- Oracle HCM or equivalent payroll software experience
- Experience with wage overpayment and repayment process
- Excellent collaboration, teamwork skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Analytical thinker and ability to work independently
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Payroll certification FPC or CPP and Multi-state payroll experience
- Process improvement experience
- Must be a graduate
- Exposure to HRMS systems, HCM experience is a plus
