Job Description
- Achieve daily/shift production targets (bags per hour/day)
- Minimize idle time and ensure continuous machine operation
- Maintain optimal machine speed without compromising quality
- Ensure bags meet required specifications (size, GSM, printing alignment, strength)
- Monitor defects (misalignment, improper pasting, tearing) & reduce rejection
- Proper setup of machine (roll loading, tension, alignment)
- Monitor parameters like temperature, pressure, and speed , glue viscosity
- Perform routine checks and basic preventive maintenance
- Identify and resolve minor faults (paper jam, glue issues, misfeeds)
- Ensure proper utilization of paper rolls and adhesives
- Minimize wastage and scrap generation
- Ensure safe handling of machine and materials
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
- Maintain production logs and downtime reports
- Record machine performance and defect data
