Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, profit and loss statements).
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate expense tracking.
- File tax returns and ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, cost-reduction opportunities, or budget variances.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., [Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle NetSuite]).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
