Job Description
A data entry job involves inputting, updating, and maintaining large volumes of information into computer systems and databases. Ideal candidates possess fast typing speeds, strict attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information while ensuring high accuracy
Key Responsibilities
- Data Processing: Accurately input text, numerical data, and mixed content from source documents, paper logs, or digital files into company databases.
- Verification & Error Checking: Review data for discrepancies, cross-check against original documents, and correct errors to maintain data integrity.
- File Management: Organize and securely file both physical and electronic records so they can be easily retrieved when needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Typing Skills: Strong keyboarding skills with a high words-per-minute (WPM) rate and minimal errors.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data entry software and office tools, including MS Excel, Google Sheets, and various database management systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional focus, time management, and organizational abilities to perform repetitive tasks without compromising quality
