Fire Alarm Technician

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Fire Alarm Panel Technician for Site . The candidate should have experience in installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems and related fire safety equipment.

The technician will be responsible for ensuring proper functioning of fire alarm panels, detectors, hooters, MCPs, and associated systems at various government buildings/sites.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and servicing of Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP)

Troubleshooting faults in fire alarm systems

Checking and testing smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCPs, hooters, and modules

Preventive maintenance as per AMC schedule

Attending breakdown/service calls on priority

Panel programming and fault rectification (if applicable)

Wiring inspection and termination work

Maintaining service reports and site records

Coordination with site supervisors and MCD officials

Ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and protocols

Required Skills

Knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems

Understanding of fire alarm panel operation and troubleshooting

Basic electrical and wiring knowledge

Ability to use testing tools and multimeter

Problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills

Field service and site handling experience
