Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Payroll & Statutory Compliance Executive to join our HR and Finance team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll lifecycle—from onboarding new hires to ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time while staying 100% compliant with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities1. Onboarding & Documentation

  • Manage the collection and verification of all new joiner documents (ID proofs, educational certificates, prior experience letters, etc.).
  • Ensure all personnel files are maintained accurately and kept confidential.

2. Statutory Compliance Management

  • Handle registrations for all statutory requirements related to payroll.
  • Manage Monthly Addition/Deletion of employees on the ESI, PF, and Insurance portals.
  • Oversee Apprenticeship Portal Management, including registration and contract generation.

3. Attendance & Payroll Processing

  • Coordinate with the Client to collect monthly attendance data.
  • Perform precise salary calculations using MS Excel, ensuring all deductions, overtime, and bonuses are accounted for.
  • Prepare and format salary sheets according to specific Software Templates for seamless portal uploads.

4. Client & Internal Coordination

  • Liaise with clients to get necessary approvals for working hours/days before finalizing payroll.
  • Upload finalized salary sheets to the payroll portal.

5. Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Generate and issue Offer Letters to selected candidates.
  • Distribute monthly payslips to all employees.
  • Process and provide Experience Certificates and Relieving Letters for exiting employees.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Proven experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Technical Skills: * Advanced MS Excel: Must be proficient in formulas (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements) for manual salary calculations.
  • Portal Proficiency: Hands-on experience with PF, ESI, and Insurance portals.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and numerical calculations is non-negotiable.
  • Communication: Strong coordination skills to work between the Time Office, Clients, and Employees.
  • Working ConditionsRole Type: Full-time
  • Software Focus: Heavy usage of MS Excel and specialized Payroll Portals.
