Retail Store Manager

Job Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, managing staff, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily store operations.

Recruit, train, and motivate store employees.

Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints.

Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.

Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering of products.

Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays.

Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.

Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance.

Handle cash management, banking, and financial reporting.

Monitor expenses and control store operating costs.

Conduct regular performance evaluations of employees.

Ensure loss prevention and minimize theft or shrinkage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).

2–5 years of experience in retail management or a supervisory role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
