Job Description – Sales & Service Engineer

The Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible for generating business enquiries through regular customer visits within the assigned region. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, addressing enquiries effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups, and converting opportunities into successful orders.

The candidate will identify competitor products used by customers and recommend suitable equivalent solutions from our product range, with support from the technical team, to meet customer requirements efficiently.

The role also includes understanding customer needs, providing suitable engineering-based product solutions, and delivering excellent customer service to enhance business growth.

Additionally, the candidate will contribute towards achieving team objectives, sales targets, and overall business performance.

• Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business enquiries through regular customer interactions and field visits
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure continuous engagement
• Identify customer requirements and provide suitable product/service solutions
• Analyze competitor products and recommend equivalent alternatives from the company portfolio
• Coordinate with the technical support team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall team performance
• Prepare and maintain reports, including sales and customer updates using Excel
• RequirementsAbility to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Experience in account acquisition and account management
• Preferred experience in the Machine Tool, Manufacturing, or Automotive Industry
• Good knowledge of Excel and reporting processes
• Willingness to travel as required for business needs
