Job Description: Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to support one of our clients with day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts accurately using Tally.
• Record and reconcile accounting transactions on a regular basis.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, and supporting accounting records.
• Assist in preparing and providing information required for GST and TDS compliance, including returns and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with the internal team to ensure timely submission of accounting and tax-related information.
• Perform bank reconciliations and other routine accounting tasks.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
• Basic understanding of GST and TDS provisions and compliance requirements.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Experience handling GST and TDS-related documentation and reconciliations will be an added advantage.
