Job Description
The Field Officer – Housekeeping Services is responsible for supervising and coordinating housekeeping operations across assigned sites to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, manpower discipline, and compliance with client requirements and company standards. The role involves workforce management, inspections, client coordination, material monitoring, and ensuring smooth day-to-day housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Supervision
- Supervise housekeeping activities at assigned client locations/sites.
- Ensure deployment of housekeeping staff as per approved manpower schedule.
Manpower Management
- Maintain attendance, shift allocation, and duty rosters of housekeeping staff.
- Ensure discipline, grooming, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to housekeeping personnel.
- Address absenteeism, replacement requirements, and emergency manpower arrangements.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure housekeeping staff follow safety procedures and use PPE properly.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily reports, inspection records, attendance registers, and stock records.
- Submit periodic operational reports to the Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications - Any Graduate / Diploma preferred.
- Experience in housekeeping, facility management, or operations supervision preferred.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to handle manpower and client coordination effectively.
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email reporting, attendance management).
- Ability to work in shifts and travel between sites if required.
Experience2–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations/facility management preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Manpower attendance and discipline.
Working Conditions
- Field-based role involving regular site visits.
- May require rotational shifts, weekends, and emergency operational support.
