Job Description
The Workday Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced reporting solutions within Workday to support HR, Payroll, C&B and Talent operations. This role combines technical expertise in Workday reporting with strong analytical skills to deliver actionable insights and ensure data integrity across HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Report Development
Build Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Custom Reports in Workday.
Create and manage Calculated Fields for complex metrics.
Data Analysis & Visualization
Validate and present data using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
Develop dashboards, discovery boards, and reporting visuals tailored to client requirements.
Business Process Support
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, C&B and Talent teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable reports.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure data integrity through audits and validations.
Maintain documentation for internal controls and compliance.
Continuous Improvement
Optimize existing reports for efficiency and usability.
Stay updated on Workday enhancements and best practices.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite reports).
Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules (C&B, Talent Performance, L&D etc).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to create calculated fields and complex reporting logic in Workday.
Soft Skills:
Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
