Summary
We are seeking a Lead Software Developer with strong expertise in ASP.NET, SQL and hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI agents). The candidate will lead feature upgrades, propose technical designs, and deliver defect-free solutions while actively participating in agile ceremonies and client communications. This role requires quick adaptability to existing systems, a focus on performance tuning, and a commitment to producing high-quality software.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead feature upgrades and enhancements from design through delivery.
Propose technical solutions and design approaches aligned with business needs.
Utilize AI agents/tools for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and performance optimization.
Ensure defect-free, high-quality product delivery through unit testing and code reviews.
Quickly grasp the existing technology landscape and adapt to new environments.
Actively participate in scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
Provide high-level estimates at an epic level and participate in functional requirements review with the Product Owner.
Deliver clear, concise, and professional updates to clients on progress, risks, and technical decisions.
Continuously look for opportunities to improve performance tuning and system efficiency, while helping the team stay focused on sprint commitments and quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
Computer Science Degree with 8+ years’ experience in the following is required.
Software Development Experience using ASP.NET MVC, Web Forms, Win Forms, .NET frameworks, C#, SQL Server, and Relational Databases
Proficient in JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap.
Experience in Modern Angular / React JS with TypeScript.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, and the JavaScript object model.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Ability to understand technical requirements.
Must have good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Knowledge of performance improvement + web vitals improvement is a plus.
Good understanding of handling or maintaining the security of the project / site. Agile methodology, CI-CD Pipelines, ORM Tools, AWS Services.
