MANAGER (CIVIL) - QA&QC

QA/QC Engineer – High?Rise Residential

Responsible for ensuring the quality of all construction activities in high?rise residential projects. Ensures compliance with approved drawings, IS codes, and project specifications through systematic inspections and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

? Quality Assurance & Standards

• Implement project QAP, ITP, method statements, and checklists.
• Ensure all works follow project specifications, structural drawings, and IS codes.

? Civil & Finishing QA/QC

• Conduct inspections for reinforcement, conventional formwork, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, painting, and all finishing items.
• Ensure workmanship meets project quality standards.

? MEP QA/QC Coordination

• Inspect basic MEP embedments: electrical conduits, plumbing sleeves, fire-fighting provisions before casting.
• Raise RFIs and ensure closure of consultant/client comments.

? Materials & Testing

• Inspect materials (cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, waterproofing items, etc.) as per approval.
• Monitor laboratory and field tests: cube tests, slump tests, material tests, etc.

? Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain QA/QC logs, test reports, checklists, NCRs, corrective actions, calibration records, DPR/WPR quality reports.
• Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 6–12 years of QA/QC experience in residential high?rise projects.
• Mandatory experience in MIVAN Aluminium Formwork QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of IS codes, construction quality standards, material testing, and documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
