Job Description


  • Greet walk-in customers, architects, interior designers, and contractors professionally
  • Understand basic customer requirement: residential, commercial, flooring, cladding, countertops
  • Direct visitors to the sales team, sample display area, or slab yard as needed
  • Maintain visitor register with name, firm, purpose, and sales executive assigned
  • Offer water/tea and company brochure/catalog while they wait
  • Answer incoming calls and route to Sales, Accounts, Dispatch, or Management
  • Take messages for site visits, sample requests, or quotation follow-ups
  • Coordinate with sales team for “customer waiting at reception” updates
  • Maintain tidiness of reception, front desk, and customer seating area
  • Handle basic data entry: customer details into CRM/Excel
  • Manage incoming/outgoing documents: quotations, POs, delivery challans, invoices
  • Handle customer calls regarding delivery delays or vehicle details
  • Collect cheques/cash receipts at counter and hand over to accounts with acknowledgement
  • File quotations, order forms, and customer KYC copies
  • Assist accounts team during month-end for pending forms or customer details
  • Receive courier, granite/marble samples from other suppliers, and notify concerned team
  • Manage office supplies: stationery, pantry, water cans, housekeeping follow-up
  • Coordinate with maintenance for showroom lighting, AC, or display upkeep
  • Basic understanding of products: difference between granite, marble, quartz, vitrified tiles
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of pricing, project quotations, and customer data
  • Follow up on pending customer requests without being asked
  • Presentable grooming – important in a high-value materials business
  • Stay calm during peak hours when multiple contractors/architects visit
