Retail Assistant Store Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:-

* Supervise day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth workflow across all departments

* Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals

* Lead, motivate, and coach retail staff to deliver excellent customer service

* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally

* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment and merchandising activities

* Ensure products are displayed according to company visual merchandising standards

* Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, and attendance management

* Train new employees on store policies, POS systems, and customer engagement practices

* Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation

* Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies

* Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities to improve store performance

* Support promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and in-store marketing initiatives

* Monitor loss prevention procedures and minimize shrinkage or theft

* Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for stock availability and timely deliveries

* Step in as acting Store Manager during absences or peak operational periods

* Ensure a positive shopping experience that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty

* Track team performance and provide regular feedback to improve productivity

* Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, inventory, and daily operations

* Assist in implementing company strategies and operational improvements
