About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales operations, achieve revenue targets, and drive business growth across multiple branches. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
- Monitor daily sales activities and analyze sales performance.
- Recruit, train, and mentor Sales Executives and Assistant Sales Managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with marketing, purchase, and operations teams to improve sales.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and branch operations.
- Monitor inventory movement and optimize product availability.
- Travel across branches to support sales growth and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
- 3–7 years of experience in retail sales or sales management.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in electronics, mobile phones, cameras, laptops, or retail sales.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve ambitious sales targets.
