Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Engineer at Pushkar Properties Pvt Ltd in Chennai. The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing day-to-day construction activities at our residential project sites. The role demands strong technical knowledge, quality orientation, and hands-on site management to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Conduct quality checks for materials, workmanship, and finishing at every stage of construction.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project managers on timelines.
• Ensure availability and efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment at the site.
• Maintain proper documentation, including measurement sheets, material registers, and site reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and safety standards.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and providing on-the-spot solutions.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, and clients whenever required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in residential building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, finishing standards, and material quality.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage manpower effectively and meet deadlines.
