Job Description: Software Developer – Frontend (Fresher, Full?Stack Growth Path)

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Frontend Developer (Fresher) who is passionate about building modern, responsive, and user?friendly interfaces. This role is ideal for someone with strong fundamentals in web development and a desire to grow into a Full?Stack Developer over time.
You will work with experienced engineers, learn financial?domain concepts, and receive guidance on backend technologies, cloud platforms, and secure application development.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development (Primary Focus)

• Build and enhance user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Work with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Implement responsive, accessible (WCAG), and pixel?perfect UI components.
• Integrate UI screens with backend APIs securely.
• Debug UI issues and optimize page performance.

Full?Stack Learning & Contribution (Gradual Progression)

• Learn backend languages such as Java and Python.
• Assist in developing APIs, server?side logic, and microservices.
• Gain exposure to: 
  • Databases (SQL and NoSQL),
  • Authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT),
  • API gateways, caching, and integration patterns,
  • Cloud fundamentals (AWS).
• Contribute to small backend tasks under senior developer guidance.

Finance Domain Exposure

• Understand core financial workflows such as: 
  • Customer onboarding & KYC journeys,
  • Payments, transactions, and settlements,
  • Account servicing and dashboards,
  • Regulatory and compliance?driven UI flows.
• Learn secure coding practices required in financial environments.
• Work with cross?functional teams (QA, Product, Risk) to ensure compliance and data privacy.

Quality & Collaboration

• Write basic unit tests for UI components.
• Participate in code reviews to improve coding skills.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field  / Masters in Computer Science.
• Strong understanding of: 
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,
  • Basics of React/Angular/Vue (academic, internship, or project exposure),
  • Git and version control workflows.
• Good problem?solving and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Understanding of APIs and how web applications work end?to?end.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have, Not Mandatory)

• Basic exposure to TypeScript.
• Academic or internship experience with backend technologies (Angular/React/Python).
• Awareness of SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS).
• Knowledge of financial workflows or fintech projects in college.

Soft Skills

• Strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, especially for UI quality.
• Ability to adapt in a fast?paced, regulated industry like finance.
