Job Description
🔹 OverviewA Accountant supports the finance team by handling basic accounting tasks, maintaining records, and assisting with compliance and reporting. This is typically an entry-level role.
- 🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
- Maintain ledgers and update accounting records
- Assist in preparing financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Support GST, TDS, and tax filings
- Prepare invoices and follow up on payments
- Assist during audits
- Maintain proper documentation and filing
- 🔹 Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with GST and taxation basics
- Proficiency in Tally
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and communication skills
- 🔹 Qualifications
- B.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent
