Cable TV Broadcasting Executive

We are hiring an experienced Playout Operator to manage our MH Dubai TV(TACTV) local cable TV channel operations end-to-end. You will be responsible for scheduling content, posting advertisements, and ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality output to cable subscribers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate playout software (G-Boombaa,BlackMoon,Play Cube, etc.) to schedule and broadcast movies, songs, and programs in Tamil, Telugu, and other languages

* Load, verify, and manage content files (movies, songs,ads, promos) on playout servers

* Insert advertisements at scheduled time slots and maintain accurate ad log records

* Check audio and video quality of all content before airing — verify correct audio levels, aspect ratio, and resolution

* Add channel branding elements: channel bug (logo), scrolling ticker, lower thirds, and title cards

* Monitor live broadcast for interruptions, pixelation, or audio dropouts and take immediate corrective action

* Prepare and schedule playlists for daily, weekly, and special programming.

* Maintain content library — labeling, organizing, and archiving video files

Required Skills:

* Hands-on experience with any local channel playout software: G-Boombaa, Play Cube, Channel Studio Pro, Blackmoon Soft, or Black Magic

* Basic video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, Edius Pro, or equivalent

* Familiarity with common video formats: MP4, MXF, AVI, MOV

* Knowledge of audio levels for broadcast (loudness standards)

* Experience with graphics/CG tools for channel branding (Photoshop or similar)

* Ability to troubleshoot basic playout and signal issues independently

* Must be comfortable working in shifts and responding to on-call situations

Preferred:

* Prior experience at a Tamil Nadu local cable channel

* Proficiency in Tamil and other South Indian language is an advantage

* Education: Diploma in Electronics, Mass Communication, or equivalent. 

* Relevant LCO experience is valued over formal qualification.
