IN-Support Engineer 2 - MFT
Scope:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Managed File Transfer (MFT) Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Level 3 technical support for our cloud-hosted clients, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures to ensure smooth and secure file transfer operations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders, contribute to our roadmap, and support operational readiness in a dynamic cloud environment.
What you will do:
Technical Support: Deliver Level 3 technical support for customers hosted on public cloud services. Diagnose and resolve incidents related to Managed File Transfer within agreed SLAs.
Configuration and Management: Configure and manage AS2 and SFTP environments, including mailbox setup, authentication methods, and certificate configurations.
Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Work with multiple internal teams and customers to lead troubleshooting efforts. Enhance cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in administering and managing MFT solutions.
Operational Support: Proven track record of providing Level 2 operational support, incident resolution, change management, and handling service requests.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of file transfer protocols such as FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SSH, AS2, and HTTP/S. Experience with infrastructure components like Windows/Unix OS, VMs, Networking, VPNs, and Traffic Managers.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills: Proficient with tools like Cleo Harmony, Cleo VLTrader, GoAnywhere, and Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure Traffic Manager, Backups, Azure Site Recovery).
Security: Understanding of SSL certificates, PGP certificates, ciphers, protocols, and algorithms.
Integration: Experience integrating Cleo Harmony accounts with various trading partners.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Ability to participate in maintenance schedules, perform server/service operations, and manage application and infrastructure upgrades.
Automation: Knowledge of task automation is advantageous.
Work Environment:
Flexible to work in shift-based support rotations.
Ability to manage escalations and coordinate with Cleo support as required.
