Within our unit we develop, validate and service gear units used in wind turbines producing sustainable energy and we are doing this for more than 40 years! Today we build new the drivetrain solutions to meet the requirements of the future. As wind turbines continue to grow we are continuously pushed outside of our engineering boundaries, which makes it a challenging engineering environment to work in.

We are looking for a new colleague in the Direct Materials buying function at our plant facility in India,Coimbatore

Your Tasks:

•     Ensure ontime procurement of raw material / boughtout parts
•     Manage Inventory at optimum levels
•     Optimize logistic costs
•     Ensure release of Purchase orders on time

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandate)  with 3 to 5 years of experiences in the field of Heavy engineering /Automobile Industries.
• Systematic planning and scheduling. Good Experience in  Logistics “Process “ professional who can study the processes in different plants and establish Best practices.
• Work expereince in SAP-MM (Must). Should have done some exceptional cost saving projects. 
• Supplier Management & Import handling experience is added advantage Should have ideas to optimize Inventories, Packaging method etc which help to cur costs.
• Technical knowledge of Manufacturing process / Bought out components, freight is required
