Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary

The Performance Test Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance and functional testing for enterprise applications. The role includes creating test artifacts, conducting performance tests using JMeter or Gatling, performing functional and integration testing, and supporting automation initiatives using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application quality, performance, and reliability, following SDLC and Agile best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare test artifacts including test scenarios, scripts, test data, and test completion reports.
Conduct performance testing and support the test lead in creating performance test plans for enterprise applications.
Perform manual functional testing across web, API, and integrated systems.
Participate in test case reviews and contribute to improving test quality.
Record and track issues in accordance with the project s defect and issue management processes.
Document defects using project-specific defect management tools and ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to analyze and resolve issues identified during testing.
Participate in the release control process to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
Validate reported fixes and ensure quality across functional and non-functional testing.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium/Playwright with Cucumber BDD.
Ensure adherence to testing standards, best practices, and overall quality governance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Performance testing using JMeter or Gatling.
Web load testing and performance testing fundamentals.
System Integration Testing and Functional Testing.
SQL and Database Testing.
API testing using Postman.
Azure, Java/.NET basics.
Experience using Chrome DevTools for performance troubleshooting.
Knowledge of test planning and test management processes.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3-5 years of experience in Selenium.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15-year full time education is required.
