Site Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision

• Monitor daily construction activities at the site
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and workers

Execution of Work

• Handle layout marking, leveling, and site measurements
• Supervise RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works
• Ensure proper use of materials and equipment

Quality Control

• Check quality of materials and workmanship
• Ensure compliance with project standards and safety regulations
• Conduct inspections and maintain quality records

Project Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
• Monitor project schedules and manpower deployment

Billing & Documentation

• Prepare BOQ measurements and quantity calculations
• Verify contractor bills and work completion reports
• Maintain site records, DPR (Daily Progress Report), and material stock details

Safety Management

• Ensure workers follow safety procedures and PPE usage
• Identify and report unsafe conditions at site
• Support implementation of HSE guidelines

Material Management

• Check material requirements and coordinate procurement
• Monitor material consumption and avoid wastage
• Maintain inventory records

Problem Solving

• Resolve technical issues at site
• Suggest practical construction solutions
• Handle client or consultant observations
