Taxation (Indirect, Trade & Export Compliance) executive
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, etc.) within statutory timelines. Assist in ensuring correctness of GST classifications, HSN/SAC codes, place of supply, and tax rates. Support GST reconciliations between books of accounts, returns, and vendor data. Support billing and IDT compliances Track and follow up on input tax credit (ITC) availability, reversals, and ineligible credits.
Maintain proper tax documentation, records, and working papers for audits and assessments. Support compliance with GST, customs, and other applicable indirect tax regulations. Assist in implementation of internal SOPs and controls for indirect tax processes.
Assist in handling GST assessments, audits, notices, and departmental queries. Prepare draft replies, reconciliations, and supporting documents for representations. Coordinate with consultants and internal teams for timely closure of tax matters.
Support export-related GST compliance, including documentation and refund applications. Maintain records and documentation required for export incentives, schemes, and concessions. Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure accurate export documentation. Track status of refunds, incentives, and benefits and follow up as required.
Support GST compliance related to outward supplies, including invoice accuracy and returns support. Assist in reconciliation of sales invoices with GSTR-1 and GST portal data. Coordinate with tax teams for GST audits and queries related to sales and receivables.
Provide data and analysis support for tax reviews, bid inputs, and management reporting. Assist in identifying compliance gaps or potential tax issues and escalate appropriately. Support month-end and year-end closures from an indirect tax perspective. |
