Overview

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth operation of machinery, equipment, and systems within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, identifying and resolving technical issues, conducting preventive maintenance activities, and coordinating with various departments to support operational efficiency. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, and the capability to understand machine mechanisms and maintenance requirements. This position is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, organized, and eager to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing and technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines, equipment, and systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.

• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment history.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for maintenance-related activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.

• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.

• Support inventory tracking of spare parts and maintenance consumables.

• Prepare maintenance documentation and reports using Excel and other tools.

• Conduct online research and sourcing activities for components, technical solutions, and maintenance requirements when needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Experience in maintenance activities within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.

• Ability to understand machine mechanisms and working principles.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.

• Preferred: Knowledge of electronics and electrical troubleshooting.

• Good communication skills with the ability to speak and understand English.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and maintenance documentation practices.

• Strong coordination and teamwork abilities.

• Good browsing, searching, and research skills for technical information and component sourcing.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently resolve technical issues.
