QC Engineer – PEB

Inward Inspection: Inspect raw materials (steel plates, HR/CR coils, fasteners, welding consumables) to ensure they match material test certificates (MTC) and quality standards.

In-Process Inspection: Conduct fit-up and dimensional checks on built-up sections, primary framing (columns, rafters), and secondary framing (purlins, girts) to ensure alignment with fabrication drawings.

Welding Inspection: Monitor welding processes and conduct visual and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on weld joints to detect defects like porosity, slag inclusion, or undercuts.

Surface Preparation & Painting Checks: Inspect shot blasting, surface roughness, and painting processes. Perform Dry Film Thickness (DFT) and adhesion tests.

Documentation & QAP: Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), and final dispatch clearance reports.

Non-Conformance Management: Identify defects, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
