Job Title: South Indian Kitchen Helper

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated South Indian Kitchen Helper to assist chefs in daily kitchen operations. The candidate will support the preparation of South Indian dishes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs in preparing ingredients for South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, chutneys, and other menu items.
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients.
• Help in batter preparation and storage as per kitchen standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas.
• Wash dishes and kitchen tools when required.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
• Assist in receiving and organizing stock and supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support chefs during busy service hours and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a South Indian kitchen is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of South Indian food preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for long hours.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
