Position: Quality Checker Engineer

Location: Nangloi / Bhiwadi

Experience Required: 2–5 Years (Preferred in Stainless Steel / Bath Accessories / Sanitaryware Industry)

Job SummaryWe are looking for a Quality Checker Engineer with hands-on experience in stainless steel bathroom accessories, sanitaryware products, and hardware quality inspection. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality at every stage, including incoming material inspection, in-process quality checks, finishing inspection, packaging quality, and final dispatch approval.

• Key Responsibilities1. Raw Material Quality InspectionInspect incoming stainless steel raw materials (SS 202 / SS 304 / SS 316) as per approved specifications.
• Check material thickness, grade, dimensions, surface finish, and rust resistance.
• Verify supplier quality documents and inspection reports.
• Reject non-conforming material and coordinate with procurement.
• 2. In-Process Quality ControlMonitor quality during manufacturing processes:
• Cutting
• Bending
• Welding
• Buffing / Polishing
• Chrome / PVD Finishing
• Assembly
• Ensure production follows approved quality standards and SOPs.
• Identify defects during production and stop defective batch processing.

3. Product Quality InspectionInspect finished products such as:

• Towel Rods
• Towel Rings
• Soap Dishes
• Robe Hooks
• Corner Shelves
• Glass Shelves
• Tumbler Holders
• Paper Holders
• Grab Bars
• Health Faucets
• Shower Accessories
• SS Bathroom Fittings
• Sanitaryware Accessories

Check for:

• Surface scratches
• Dent marks
• Welding defects
• Finishing defects
• Sharp edges
• Misalignment
• Loose fittings
• Rust spots
• Color variation
• PVD coating defects
• Leakage (if applicable)
• 4. Assembly & Functional TestingCheck fitting alignment and assembly accuracy.
• Conduct load-bearing tests for mounted accessories.
• Verify screw fitment, wall fixing compatibility, and product stability.
• Test moving parts / hinges if applicable.
• 5. Packaging Quality InspectionEnsure correct product packing as per company standard.
• Check:
• Barcode labels
• Product codes
• Packaging quality
• Box printing
• Quantity accuracy
• Foam / protection materials
• Prevent wrong dispatch due to packaging mismatch.
• 6. Dispatch Quality ApprovalFinal inspection before dispatch.
• Approve only quality-passed material for shipment.
• Maintain dispatch inspection records.
• 7. Documentation & ReportingPrepare:
• Daily Quality Reports
• Rejection Reports
• Supplier Complaint Reports
• CAPA Reports
• NCR Reports
• Quality Checklists
• Maintain QC documentation properly.
• 8. Process ImprovementSuggest improvements for defect reduction.
• Work with production team to reduce rejection percentage.
• Support implementation of 5S / Kaizen / Quality SOPs.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of stainless steel product manufacturing
• Understanding of SS grades, polishing, welding, finishing
• Experience in bath accessories / sanitaryware inspection
• Knowledge of measuring instruments:
• Vernier Caliper
• Micrometer
• Thickness Gauge
• Surface Finish Tools
• Basic knowledge of ISO quality standards
• Strong defect identification skills
• Good reporting and documentation skills
