​Job Summary

​We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee on-site execution for a residential construction project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-quality finishing works, coordinating with various agencies, and ensuring accurate stock and material management. You will be responsible for driving the project to completion while strictly adhering to technical drawings, quality standards, and timelines.

​Key Responsibilities

​1. Site Execution & Finishing Works

​Supervise and ensure the flawless execution of all finishing activities, including flooring, wall finishes (plastering, painting), and bathroom fittings.

​Oversee and coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations to ensure they align seamlessly with civil and interior works.

​Manage the execution of the exterior facade, ensuring it meets the aesthetic and structural requirements of the design.

​Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all finishing work meets the highest residential standards.

​2. Agency & Contractor Management

​Act as the primary point of contact for multiple on-site agencies, vendors, and sub-contractors.

​Allocate daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure all agencies are working efficiently and safely.

​Resolve any on-site conflicts or delays between different working groups (e.g., coordinating plumbers with flooring contractors).

​3. Measurements & Technical Alignment

​Expertly read, interpret, and execute work based on architectural, structural, and MEP technical drawings.

​Take highly accurate on-site measurements for material estimation and contractor billing (checking joint measurement sheets).

​Identify any discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and proactively report them to the architect or project manager.

​4. Stock Keeping & Material Management

​Maintain accurate daily logs of all incoming and outgoing construction materials.

​Monitor inventory levels for finishing materials, MEP supplies, and general civil items to prevent work stoppages.

​Raise timely material indents/requisitions based on accurate site measurements and upcoming work schedules.

​Ensure proper storage of delicate finishing materials (e.g., tiles, fixtures, facade elements) to prevent damage or theft.

​Required Skills & Qualifications

​Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

​Experience: Proven track record in residential construction, with specific, hands-on experience managing finishing stages.

​Technical Skills: Strong ability to read Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, architectural plans, and MEP layouts.

​Software: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD (to check dimensions) and MS Excel (for stock keeping and measurement records).

​Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage labor and contractors. Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for aesthetic quality in finishing works.
