Job Description
A Tally Accountant handles day-to-day accounting activities with Tally ERP software.
In this position, new hires assist with processing bills, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
Candidates with familiarity with Tally software and a basic understanding of accounting principles are qualified for the position.
- Keeping track of every day's sales, purchases, payments, and receipts in Tally ERP.
- Keeping track of ledgers, journals, and cash books.
- Managing GST entries, TDS deductions, and tax compliance.
- Preparing fundamental financial statements such as a profit and loss account and a balance sheet.
- Monitoring vendor accounts and bank statements.
- Assistance for senior accountants with reporting and audits.
- Skills RequiredExperience in Tally Prime and Tally ERP 9.
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Knowledge of taxes, TDS, and GST.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
