Job Description
About the Role: We are a building materials distribution company based in Kochi looking for energetic and self-motivated Sales Executives to manage and grow our retail channel across assigned territories in Ernakulam. You will be the face of our brand at hardware shops, paint stores, glass & ply dealers, aluminium shops, roofing sheet dealers, and power tool retailers.
This is a field role — ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and earning based on their performance.
What You'll Do:
- Visit retail outlets (hardware, paint, glass & ply, aluminium, power tools, roofing) on a daily beat-wise route plan
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shop owners and counter staff
- Pitch and sell products based on each customer's market needs and competition
- Explain new schemes, offers, and newly launched products to dealers
- Train shop staff on product features and benefits
- Assist in conducting in-shop meets and marketing/promotional activities
- Identify new dealers and business opportunities in your territory
- Ensure timely payment collection from customers
- Report daily market feedback, competitor activity, and sales updates
What We're Looking For:
- 2-wheeler with valid driving licence (mandatory)
- Good communication in Malayalam; basic English a plus
- Confident, self-driven, and target-oriented personality
- Willingness to travel daily within Ernakulam district
- Interest in building a career in sales — freshers with the right attitude are welcome
- Prior experience in building materials, FMCG, or retail sales is an advantage
