Fashion Designer – Ethnic / Indian Wear

Role Overview

A hands-on design role for an experienced ethnic-wear designer who can own collections from concept to production-ready styles. You'll design across our full range — sarees, lehengas, suits, anarkalis, dupatta sets, gowns and kurtis — working closely with our in-house stitching unit, karigars and merchandising team. You'll also support bespoke and made-to-order styling for studio clients, so a strong grip on fits, fabrics and finishing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collection Design: design seasonal ranges across sarees, lehengas, suits, anarkalis, dupatta sets, gowns and kurtis, aligned to the brand aesthetic
• Production-Ready Execution: build tech packs / spec sheets and drive samples through our in-house stitching unit to final, production-ready fits
• Craft & Textile: work with heritage weaves, hand-block prints and embroidery; choose fabrics, motifs and colour stories
• Bespoke / Made-to-Order: support custom styling and fits for studio and store clients
• Trend & Range Planning: research trends and plan ranges with the merchandising team across everyday and occasion wear
• Karigar & Vendor Coordination: drive prints, embroidery, finishing and sampling timelines with karigars and vendors
• CAD & Concept: own designs from sketch (CorelDRAW/Illustrator) → sample → final approval

Requirements

• 3–6 years designing women's ethnic / apparel wear
• Strong CAD skills (CorelDRAW / Illustrator)
• Real textile, weave and garment-construction knowledge (handloom / ethnic crafts a strong plus)
• Comfortable working close to an in-house stitching/production unit
• A portfolio of ethnic-wear design work
• Sharp eye for colour, motif, fit and detail
• Available full-time, on-site in Faridabad
