Job Description
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Service Manager to lead and manage the entire service division of our Hero MotoCorp dealership in Faridabad. The candidate will be responsible for workshop operations, customer satisfaction, team management, and revenue growth of the service department.
Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Operations
- Oversee day-to-day workshop functioning and job card management
- Ensure timely delivery of vehicles with quality repairs
- Monitor technician productivity and efficiency
- Maintain workshop equipment and tools
- Ensure adherence to Hero MotoCorp service standards and SOPs
Accidental / Body Repair
- Handle accidental repair cases end to end
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors for claim approvals
- Ensure quality of denting, painting and body repair work
- Minimize turnaround time on accidental jobs
Spare Parts
- Coordinate with spare parts department for timely availability
- Minimize pending jobs due to parts unavailability
- Monitor fast and slow moving parts inventory
- Reduce dead stock and ensure optimal inventory levels
Customer Handling
- Handle escalated customer complaints professionally
- Ensure high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
- Follow up with customers post service delivery
- Build long term customer relationships and drive repeat visits
Team Management
- Lead a team of service advisors, technicians and helpers
- Daily briefing, target setting and performance monitoring
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Manage attendance, discipline and team motivation
Revenue & Targets
- Achieve monthly service revenue targets
- Drive labour revenue, AMC sales, accessories upselling
- Monitor and improve service retention rate
- Reduce free service conversion loss
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain all service records and MIS reports
- Ensure compliance with Hero MotoCorp audit parameters
- Coordinate with Hero MotoCorp RSO/ASM for training and audits
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management
