Role Overview: Adeera Packaging is looking for a hands-on Compliance Manager to lead and own all certification and audit processes. This role goes beyond documentation—you will be responsible for driving compliance systems across departments, leading audits, and representing the company during customer visits and inspections.

Key Responsibilities1. Certification & Audit Management

• Lead and maintain BRCGS certification (A/A+ preferred)
• Manage SEDEX / SMETA compliance
• Oversee FSC Chain of Custody compliance
• Plan and execute internal & external audits
• Drive closure of non-conformities with strong root cause analysis

2. Documentation & Systems

• Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, and compliance records
• Ensure audit-ready documentation at all times
• Implement structured documentation and version control systems

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Production, QA, Procurement, Sales, and HR
• Ensure compliance is embedded in daily operations
• Influence teams without direct reporting authority

4. Customer & Auditor Interface

• Lead customer audits and factory visits independently
• Act as the primary point of contact for compliance discussions
• Present processes and systems with clarity and confidence

5. Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

• Identify gaps and implement preventive systems
• Stay updated on global compliance standards and changes
• Benchmark practices against industry best standards

Must-Have:

• 7+ years of experience in compliance / quality / audit roles
• Strong experience in BRCGS, SEDEX (SMETA), and FSC
• Proven ability to lead audits independently
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment

Good-to-Have:

• Experience in packaging / paper / printing / FMCG manufacturing
• Exposure to export-oriented setups
• Knowledge of ISO standards
• Familiarity with ERP or digital compliance systems
• Personality Fit Highly structured and detail-oriented
• Strong ownership mindset
• Calm and confident under audit pressure
