Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Import & Export Executive
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Import & Export Executive to manage international trade operations, documentation, and coordination with overseas clients and logistics partners. The candidate will be responsible for handling export/import processes and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage export and import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Shipping Bill, etc.)
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agent), and transporters
Handle LC (Letter of Credit), advance payments, and bank documentation
Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch
Maintain communication with international clients and suppliers
Ensure compliance with DGFT and customs regulations
Prepare export/import reports and maintain records
Track international payments and follow up for outstanding payments
Knowledge of HS Code classification.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of international trade procedures
Understanding of export-import documentation
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Familiarity with MS Excel and ERP software
Problem-solving and coordination skills
Knowledge of GST and customs rules (preferred)
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/International Business/Supply Chain
Certification in Export-Import Management (preferred)
Minimum 3 years experience in commercial role
